Request for Proposals

Jun 29, 2021

United Way of Greater Fall River (UWGFR) announces a new Request for Proposals (RFP) process any 501(c)3 organization, working within our service area, wishing to become an Agency Partner for 2021-2022.

For the past 74 years, UWGFR has worked with a core group of “Member Agencies.”  As we shift to a Modern United Way model, we are looking to fund programs beyond our traditional set of Member Agencies.

This Request for Proposals is for agency programs not part of our historical Member Agencies.  Agencies whose programs received funding through our Impact Grant process, designations from donors, or through COVID-19 Grant Funding are encouraged to submit a proposal.  Agencies who have not received program funding from UWGFR but work in our service area are welcome to apply.

New agencies are encouraged to apply for funding up to $50,000 to build capacity or expand existing programs.  Focus areas for funding are:

  • Youth behavioral health services
  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion programming
  • Health, education, & financial stability programs which serve historically excluded populations

Upload proposals, with accompanying documentation, to the United Way of Greater Fall River portals below before 12:01 am on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 via the buttons below.   Both the Agency Narrative and Program Proposal are required.

Funded programs will be notified directly before September 1, 2021.  Funding is prorated and will run July 1, 2021 until June 30, 2022. Online program reporting is required before December 30, 2021 and before July 15, 2022.
