Support the Restart Teen Closet

Nearly 41,000 youth live unaccompanied in America each year. Wary of reporting themselves homeless, they spend extended periods of time with friends, family, or even their vehicles, technically homeless but uncounted and unsheltered.

That’s as many as 15% of kids who are going to school, practice, and work…but not going home at the end of the day. Frequently, teachers and adjustment counselors support these students with hygiene items like shampoo, body wash, deodorant, and menstrual hygiene products.

In order to better support the students in greater Fall River, United Way of Greater Fall River, Fun 107, and Greater Fall River Partners for a Healthier Community are working together to bring a Restart Teen Closet full of supplies to each high school and middle school in Greater Fall River.

Help stock our Restart Teen Closet by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List or donating to the GiveLively campaign. All donations will stay local and go directly to the Restart Teen Closet.

Together, we can help greater Fall River teens maintain their hygiene and dignity while they continue their education.
