
United Way of Greater Fall River is pleased to announce a streamlined Grant Process.
United Way of Greater Fall River provides four funding opportunities throughout the fiscal year:
- Allocations – invite-only application process preapproved by the Board
- Impact Grants – open to any 501c3 non-profit agency in our service area
- Food and Basic Needs Grants (open to any 501c3 non-profit food distribution partner in our service area)
- Special Initiatives (flexible funding identified by community needs)
To achieve our goals, United Way of Greater Fall River will focus our resources on a limited set of investment areas where organizations can make the greatest impact and contribute to significant outcomes in the lives of the individuals in our community.

Therein you will find application guidelines, goals and alignments with United Way Worldwide, United Way Racial Equity and Impact Strategies, the scoring rubric for this process, and the application questions. All grants will be processed using the same application and budget form; all funded programs are required to submit the same reports.
No late applications will be accepted or considered. All documents submitted to the Grant Application must be in PDF format.
