United Way springs to action to support humanitarian work for those fleeing violence and war in Ukraine.
United Way of Greater Fall River supports the efforts of United Ways on the ground in Hungary, Romania, and Poland. Together, we are providing aid to the over 2 million refugees fleeing Ukraine for safety abroad. Funds will fulfil immediate basic needs of those in need. Local United Ways are supplying food, medical care, shelter, and transportation at this time. As the situation is ever-changing, we believe that supporting these local UWs is the best way to provide the care that is needed in the moment.
